Raymond L. Dockstader, 78

  Raymond L. Dockstader died on April 23, 2009 at his home in Washington, DC. Raymond was born in Terry, Mont. in 1930 to Lloyd and Frances Dockstader.

He was brought to Washington D.C. by Senator Mike Mansfield in 1953 where he had a distinguished career in the US Senate, the American Folk Life Center at the Library of Congress and at the Mansfield Center for Pacific Affairs. He was also an accomplished, award-winning artist.

Tom Eugene George, 72

  Tom Eugene George, 72, passed away May 4, 2009, in Bozeman. He was born on Sept. 11, 1936, in Terry to Tom and Nina Maude (Michelsen) George. 

Tom graduated from Terry High School in Terry. Upon graduation he entered the Marine Corps in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1958. One of his favorite mottos was "Once a Marine, always a Marine."

Willard L. “Willy” Hanson, age 79, of Marion, died early Tuesday morning, April 21, 2009, at his residence surrounded by his family following an extended battle with several illnesses.
On May 9, 1929, Willy was born in Terry, Montana, the son of the late Soren and Marie (Tesnes) Hanson.
