Boys and girls capture first place trophies at district 4C

  Terry boys and girls pulled away with first place wins at the district 4C track meet in Miles City on Thursday.

Athletes receive sports awards

  Wednesday, May 6, in the Ray Frank Gymnasium, Terry athletes were rewarded for their hard work and dedication to their particular sports.

Handing out awards were head coaches Jasmine Freiboth (volleyball), Greg Poucher (football), Sharilyn Kortum (girls’ basketball) and Casey Klasna (boys’ basketball and outstanding athlete).

Terry makes trek to Wolf Point track meet

Friday evening, eight Terry track athletes competed in a meet held in Wolf Point. The junior and senior class was unable to attend due to the Junior/Senior Class Play, but Terry’s sophomore and freshmen classes represented the Terriers well.
Three athletes were able to bring home one or more ribbons in their respective events.

Hershey track meet set

       Glendive will be hosting a Hershey's Track Meet on Saturday, May 16th at Perham Field at the Dawson County High School. Children aged 9 – 14 are encouraged to sign up.  
Events will begin at 10:00 am. Entry forms can be picked up at the Recreation Department. Registration forms have been mailed to rural schools. Forms must be returned by Thursday May 14.

Five attend Top Ten Meet in Glasgow

Terry sent five athletes to Glasgow Tuesday evening for the Top Ten Track Meet. The meet is for athletes in Class A, B, and C. Five students represented Terry in seven events. Those participating were: Tanner Stickel – 110 meter hurdles and triple jump; Mike Poucher – javelin; Jerett Freiboth – javelin; Kyle Tusler – 1600 meter run and 3200 meter run; Dani Dukart – shot put.

Terry track team competes in Glendive

       The Terry High School track team traveled to Glendive on Friday and Saturday to compete in the Elk’s Invitational two-day meet. Again, Terry competed against all classes of schools in addition to teams from North Dakota.

After scoring seventeen points, the Terrier boy’s squad placed number one amongst the Class C schools competing.

Track teams place second

      The boys and girls track teams traveled to Broadus Saturday for their third meet of the season. Both teams came home with second place finishes, competing against eight teams, four of which are from district 4-C.

Robbyn Reukauf - 1st 100-meter hurdles 20.12; 2nd 1600-meter 6:35; 4th long jump 12’11.5”

Carly Stickel - 1st 400-meter 1:11; 2nd 200-meter dash 30.48
