As the Terry High School football team prepares to compete in their first game of the season on Saturday in Rudyard, Mont. - a 340-mile trip, one-way - head coach Casey Schladweiler says experience will work to the advantage of this year’s team.

It was a blistering hot day for competitors and spectators alike during the 10th annual Terry Ranch Rodeo held in conjunction with the Prairie County Fair on Sunday, August 8. The roster was full as twelve teams from surrounding areas traveled to town for the competition.
Fifty-nine entrants competed during the Prairie County Motorcycle Association’s third annual arenacross.

Tanner Stickel demonstrated his offensive finesse during the 14th annual 6-Man All-Star football game in Highwood. Completing a 21-yard pass in the fourth quarter – one of seven passes for a total of 187 yards – Stickel not only contributed to the Red team win over the Blue team, he received the Offensive MVP award.
It had already proven to be a positive track season. Personal bests were achieved, first place district trophies for both the girls’ and boys’ teams were brought home and many from the team qualified to compete in the Top Ten track meet.
