Terry Roping Club Fourth of July Rodeo Winners
Eight teams participated in a THS Close-up Volleyball fundraising tournament held in Terry Saturday. The top three teams were 1st place Jordan, followed by Miles City, then Terry.
with his first place wins in the 1,600 and 3,200 at the Class C state track meet.
DJ Hubbert, Paul Eayrs and Sergey Fredrickson, pictured at left, played
for the winning red team at the 6-Man All Star game in Custer, Saturday,
June 1. The red team won 63-40.
Coming home with medals from the Class C state track meet held in Laurel
May 24 and 25 were Layne Lantis and Josh Stickel. Lantis finished first in the
1,600 and 3,200 with times of 4:24.22 and 9:47.00 respectively. Stickel placed
fifth in the triple jump with 41-2 1/2.
The 17th annual 6-Man All-Star football game will be played Saturday at Custer, Mont., at Cougar Field. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
The Terry boys and girls high school track teams will be competing at the Class C state track meet this weekend.
Terry’s B league pitcher Max Eaton throws the ball during Friday night’s
home game against State Farm of Glendive. Terry’s B and C league teams
have played several home games already this season. Games will continue
through the end of June, with the final week’s city league tournament in Glendive.
Young shooters between the ages of 6 and 11 participated in a BB gun shooting contest on Saturday held at the Prairie County Sportsman’s Association’s Trap Range.
