Varsity teams dominate in games against Wibaux and Rosebud, fall to Jordan

Terrier gridders defeat Rosebud, ready for home action against Denton

The Terriers varsity football team hosted the Rosebud Wranglers, Saturday, Sept. 17. In a morning greeted with drizzling rain, Terrier fans and players were welcomed with clearer conditions by afternoon game time.

The Terriers dominated the field ending with a final score of 62-19.
Trevor Pisk led the Terriers with 5 touchdowns. Tyler Forcella, DJ Hubbert and Paul Eayrs each added one on the board.
"The kids played well and we knew what kind of matchup we had so we threw alot of plays out there that we would be practicing for the next week,” stated head coach Nathan Christofferson. “Special teams and defensively we have got to step up better so this week we will be working hard on that.” The Terriers are expecting a tough matchup against the Denton Trojans on the Terrier home field, Saturday, Sept. 24.
“Denton is ranked number 1 in the state and this would be a great win to have,” Christofferson said.
Game time is 1 p.m.
