To the good citizens of Prairie County I’d like to rally you to a cause that is of great concern to this nation. The cause is for you to know your countries heritage and what is pulling the nation apart. Our country was founded on several basic principals. God, the family unit and Patriotism can‘t be separated out of our founding’s. Yet America is on the fast track to dispense of these. Over the next several months I will make the case for the founding of this nation.
The very first constitution in America was the Fundamental Orders written in 1639. “Forasmuch as it pleased the Almighty God by the wise disposition of his divine providence so to order”…… So it was. To begin this country, God was called upon for it’s establishment. As our history in America begins the founders beseeched the blessings of God.
All the freedoms and liberties we enjoy today are because of the founders’ beliefs. Anyone suggesting that Christianity had little influence on America is not familiar with our history. Ninety-four percent of the founding fathers quoted directly or indirectly from the Bible. The Bible was quoted 4 times more frequently than any other source at the Constitutional Congress.
In America, God is our source, and as America has turned it’s back to Him we will surely suffer the consequences of that choice. Do you think financial melt down is a coincidence? Do you think a morally bankrupt society has the ability to repair the massive amount of problems this country faces?
If My people which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear them from Heaven, and forgive their sins, and will heal their land. ll Chronicles 7:14
The solution sounds so simple in biblical terms. Then why is it so hard for our nation and her people to bend their knees to our Creator. We’re to big to fail is what our government continues to say. Pride comes before the fall. Can America fail? Rome did and they controlled the world.
You often hear the term Separation of Church and State. Jefferson was said to be instrumental in the design of the First Amendment. Not true. Jefferson was serving as the minister to France in France while that amendment was being debated and drafted. There is not a Separation Clause in the Constitution of the United States of America, as some would have you believe. A corrupt and select few have perverted the meaning of this Article.
The term “Separation of Church and State” is found in another document though. It reads: In order to insure of the citizens freedom of conscience, the church in the U.S.S.R. is separated from the State, and the school from the church. The Constitution of the USSR Article 124
There is in this nation today a struggle between good and evil. Which one will win? It’s your choice. When was the last time you read the Constitution, The Declaration of Independence or the farewell speech Washington delivered to the nation as he left the Presidency? How about the most important book of all, the Bible? The great American documents are all that stand between you and tyranny. It is up to each generation to learn our history, protect it and preserve it for the next. Arm yourselves with the knowledge of your true history of America and her God. We must win this struggle or this country will change, your freedoms and liberties will be lost.
The philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.
I’m ashamed that it was my generation that has allowed the nonsense of kicking our Creator out of our schools and public life. I said nothing. No more, I’m pushing back. What will you do?
