Terriers enter district tourney Wednesday after wins

  With a season record of 18-0 the Terry girls basketball team will enter the District 4C tournament in the number one seed. 

The Lady Terriers’ regular season ended Saturday when they completed a 55-42 win over the Jordan Mustangs. 
The district tournament begins Wednesday, Feb. 16 for the Lady Terriers where they will face off against Custer at 5:45 p.m.at the Custer County District High School gym in Miles City. 
“After a disappointing tournament last year, we are looking forward to going into this tournament and taking care of business,” said head coach Sharilyn Kortum.

Terry boys finish regular season on winning streak
The Terry boys basketball team ended their regular season with a four game winning streak after Saturday night’s defeat over the Jordan Mustangs 73-25. 
Head coach Nathan Christofferson said the wins can be  attributed to the team’s good defense and focus on fundamentals. 
"It was nice to see the kids working hard and having fun,” Christofferson said. “Everybody played well and did what was expected of them."
The team’s overall season record is 10-8. 
The Terriers will begin their play at the District 4C tournament against Melstone Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 11:45 a.m. at the CCDHS in Miles City.

Terry was led by Jerett Freiboth with 25, followed by Trevor Pisk 17, Trayton Schroeber 16, Talon Mack 5, Josh Stickel 5, DJ Hubbert 4, and Sergey Fredrickson 1. 
Terry 57 Ekalaka 48
Terry was led by Jerett Freiboth with 17, followed by Trevor Pisk 14, Talon Mack 13, Trayton Schroeber 7, DJ Hubbert 4, and Tyler Sackman 2.
Terry 61 Rosebud 30
Jerett Freiboth led the Terriers with 21, followed by Trayton Schroeber 18, Trevor Pisk 8, DJ Hubbert 6, Sergey Fredrickson 5, Talon Mack 2, Tyler Sackman 1.
