Terrier boys have tough series of games

The Terriers played with the Broncs in the first two quarters against Melstone, going into half time down 23-26. At the start of the second half the boys made some mental errors that allowed the broncs to control and finish the game. The final score was 36-58 Broncs.
"We just couldn't move the ball as well as we wanted to,” head coach Nathan Christofferson stated. “They played hard, just couldn't finish."  
Scoring was Jerett Freiboth 12, Trevor Pisk 8, DJ Hubbert 8, Trayton Schroeber 4, Sergey Fredrickson 2, and Talon Mack 2.
Traveling to Hysham Monday night the boys battled the Pirates. "Hysham is a well respected team and we knew it was going to be tough,” Christofferson said.
The Terriers started out slow and couldn't push the ball.
An impressive last minute run was a good attempt, but Terriers fell short to the Bulldog team.
Scoring was Trevor Pisk with 20, DJ Hubbert 12, Jerett Freiboth 10, Talon Mack 7, Trayton Schroeber 5, and Sergey Fredrickson 2.
Tuesday night Ekalaka Bulldogs traveled to Terry. Terriers started slow in the first quarter falling behind 6-11. At second quarter the guys took it up a notch. They pressed and moved the ball very well to put them just behind going in the half 22-25. 
Third quarter the Terriers pushed the ball and worked the ball down into the paint to draw fouls. Terriers finished at the free throw line 16-22. 
In the end it was a back and forth matchup. It come down to the bitter end. Terriers fell short in an intense battle with the Bulldogs, 55-56. 
Scoring was Trevor Pisk 21, Jerett Freiboth 17, Trayton Schroeber 6, Sergey Fredrickson 6, DJ Hubbert 4, Talon Mack 1.
