Chamber launches local photo drive

Prairie County Chamber of Commerce is holding a “photography drive” in order to promote the new Visit Terry, Montana Web site and Prairie County’s tourist publications.

Residents of Prairie County will be able to showcase their pictures of the area and its’ surroundings by submitting their entries to the Prairie County Chamber of Commerce.
Deadline for photo submission is May 19, 2010.
Recent pictures are preferable but not mandatory. Please limit entries to two photographs. The following categories are suggestions for the type of pictures for which we are looking:
• Natural Beauty of the Badlands and neighboring wilderness areas.
• Farming and Ranching; specifically, the now-a-day Evelyn Cameron and what would her photos look like in this century, or perhaps a “recreation” of an original Cameron photo.
• Every day life in Prairie County covering special Prairie County events and day to day living.
Photo submission details can be found at: or at area chamber businesses.
