Winifred Marie Schott Wilson Haug, 86

  Wini Marie Schott Wilson Haug passed away March 29, 2010 in Tacoma, Wash.

Wini was born on Dec. 21, 1923, in Roscoe, S.D. She was the third daughter and fourth child of George and Gertrude Schott. She grew up in Terry, Mont. She moved to Seattle to join her sisters during World War II. 
In 1946 she married John Wilson and had her first son, John “Scot” Williamson in Dec. 1946. Later she married Egil “Hoagy” Haug and settled in West Seattle. Her second son, Erik Ragnar was born in March 1960. 
Wini worked as a bookkeeper until she retired in 1990. Her husband, Hoagie, died in 1987. She moved to Tacoma to be closer to Erik in 2000, until her death.
Wini was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dody Hauter in 1998 and Beverly Callaghan in 2009.
Besides her two sons, Scot (Cynthia) Wilson from White Sulphur Springs, Mont. and Erik, she is survived by two brothers, Don (Ruth) Schott from Miles City, Mont. and George (Myrna) Schott from Billings, Mont. She leaves behind several generations of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Services were held on Friday, April 2, 2010 in Seattle.
