Boys split weekend games, prepare for district tourney

Terry varsity boys’ final three games of the regular season ended with two losses and one win.

Traveling for all three games the boys fell to N. Cheyenne Tuesday night 75-38, found an easy defeat against Rosebud Friday night with a final score of 65-38 and finished the week’s action with a Saturday night 46-37 loss to Jordan.
The boys will face off against the N. Cheyenne Eagles Thur., Feb. 18 at 1:00 pm for the 4-C District tournament action held in the Custer County District High School gymnasium in Miles City.
Terriers finished the season tied for fourth place with N. Cheyenne. Head coach Casey Klasna pointed to optimistic tournament expectations for the team.
“We split games with N. Cheyenne and if we have it in our minds to play good team basketball we could have a good tournament,"  Klasna said.
On a downside Klasna noted "with Trevor Pisk out it's going to be tough to fill his spot.  We're going to have to have some of our younger (players) step up."
Soph. player Trevor Pisk was injured during the Feb. 6 Ekalaka game.
