Motorcycle fans meet, form board

Members of the newly formed Prairie County Motorcycle Association met last week to finalize plans for their 2009 Arenacross event, which will be held at the fairgrounds Sunday, July 26.

The group has met two times this year so far, according to member Tristy Schroeber. Along with the annual arenacross, the group hopes to organize other local motorcycle events as well, Schroeber said.
Other members include: Blayne Watts, Jamy Frost, Jeff Wallace, Gerald Schroeber, and Cody Meidinger.
Five or 6 pro riders are expected to participate in the July 26 arenacross. Those interested in participating, ages 6 to adult, are invited to register early by calling (406) 951-4619 or 486-5654.
All participants of younger classes will receive a t-shirt, while first through third place finishes of older groups will receive t-shirts.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Prairie County Fair Board for fairground improvements.

Sky TV, who hold all the aces for cricket broadcasting in the UK since the ECB dropped its trousers four years ago, seems to have become a victim of its own technological success. Whatever one thinks of Sky’s unrivalled record for turning great sportsmen and Paul Allott into bonkers or deathly dull commentators, the advances in technology every year are mighty impressive.
