Hometown all-stars get six man win

        After reporting to Custer, Mont. on Tuesday, June 2, to prepare for the Friday night all-star game, Mike Poucher and Kyle Tusler came away not only with new friends and memories, but with the first place trophy.

This year’s 13th annual six man all-star game was played Friday night under the lights in Custer, Mont. at 7:30 p.m. 
Seniors Mike Poucher and Kyle Tusler represented the red team. They joined other players from Hysham, Custer, Roberts, Lambert and Bridger to name a few. Players on the blue team consisted of players from Highwood, West Yellowstone, Geraldine, Augusta, and others.
The first half generated the most offense with the red team holding a 40-28 halftime lead. The blue team outscored the red team in the second half 12-8 to make it an interesting game. However, the red team held on for the 48-40 victory.
Seth Baldwin of Roberts was named the offensive MVP for the red team while Ben Baum of Highwood was offensive MVP for the blue team.
Defensively, the red team MVP was Lane Morales of Hysham and the blue team MVP went to Reid Fleming of Augusta.
