Town Council holds hearing on zoning

The Terry Town Council hosted a public hearing Wednesday, Nov. 6 regarding the proposed zoning regulations for the town. The meeting lasted under an hour with about 20 people in attendance, according to town clerk Lynn Schilling. A handful of people spoke for and against the proposal with some questioning aspects of zoning.

The council will meet Nov. 20 for their regular monthly meeting at which time the adoption of the draft will be discussed further. The council will look at adopting the zoning draft with or without suggested changes or may elect not to proceed with adoption, according to Schilling.
