The Terry High School volleyball team’s “Make it Pink” event was a great success, according to organizer Cheryl Morrison.

With over 45 items donated for the silent auction, the October 19 fundraiser netted $432 from bidders — young and old. Several elementary students provided “great enthusiasm” to the affair as they took part in the bidding wars as well, Morrison said.
Donated items included baked goods and crafty items as well as several donations from local businesses.
Items raffled off included a $15 gift card from Creative Corner, a necklace from Montana Ty, a white cake donning a pink ribbon of icing created by Lynn Stickel and a purse overflowing with goodies from Gennarations.
“The support from everyone was amazing,” Morrison said, noting many Broadus fans took part in the fundraiser as well.
The volleyball team will be voting this week on which organization the funds raised will benefit.
