Reeling ‘em in — Fishing Day held in Terry

The Prairie County Sportsman Association provided a day of fishing fun for the fifth year in a row Saturday June 5.

With about 45 children and adults on hand, the gathering caravaned south of Terry to try their rod and reels fishing at Tibbetts’ Pond. PCSA member Mark Dolatta reported a good fishing day with bluegill rewards, among other kinds, was had by young and old.
The day of fishing was followed with a barbecue at Murn Park.
This year’s winners of tackle boxes were Lexie May and Conrad Hess. All children attending the event were also given a poster, good luck hook and bobber along with a rod and reel provided by the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks.
