Chilly conditions blow in

Tuesday’s blizzard conditions came into Prairie County just on the heals of Saturday’s spring-like temperatures that reached into the 40s.

A wind chill advisory remained in effect for county residents until 5 a.m. Wednesday, with temps falling into the 30 below zero mark due to the wind chill factor.
Dan Kirkpatrick and Slade Bumgardner, pictured above walking along Spring Street Tuesday evening, were among area residents impacted by the frigid weather.
