Terrific Tuesdays kickoff Nov. 27 with chili and cookies

  Terry’s popular holiday Terrific Tuesdays will begin with a chili feed and cookie tasting Tuesday, Nov. 27. A freewill offering of bowls of chili will be served in front of Stockman Bank at 5:15 p.m. by Terry High School Closeup students, while participating businesses will be handing out their favorite Christmas cookies to in-store visitors.

Other Terrific Tuesdays include: 
Dec. 4 - Santa visit at Stockman Bank and Light Parade  Children can have their picture taken with Santa in the lobby of Stockman Bank beginning at 5 p.m. Hot dogs and cocoa will be served by Stockman Bank employees. A light parade, offering Christmas-themed floats made by local businesses and organizations, will begin at 6 p.m.
Dec. 11 - Holiday progressive meal  From 5 - 7 p.m. participating businesses will offer samples of holiday treats to in-store visitors. A menu list from businesses will be made available.
Dec. 18 - Christmas stocking stuffers Small items will be offered at discount prices to shoppers of local businesses.
Small Business Saturday, Nov. 24
Offering a nostalgic Christmas-themed setting this holiday season, local businesses plan to be ‘decked out’ in time for the Small Business Saturday, Nov. 24 - a day set aside to support small businesses.  The Prairie County Chamber of Commerce is encouraging shoppers to check out the Christmas shopping available locally before heading to box stores elsewhere.
