A great match up between conference rivals the Terry Terries and the Richey-Lambert Fusion ended in a disappointing loss for the hometown team, despite a mere one-point difference at half time. The Terriers fell to the Fusion team 41-72 during Saturday’s homecoming game in Terry.

"We wanted to go into this game and take control of the conference as R&L is probably number one despite the record,"  stated head coach Nathan Christofferson.
Terriers started the game off with a touchdown pass from Kyle Lassle to Tyler Sackman. (PAT failed) This was followed by a swap for swap on touchdowns between the two teams all the way until halftime. The score at half was Terry 33, R&L 34.
“(We) came out after half and had a shaky start which led the Fusion to go up two touchdowns,” stated head coach Christofferson.
A glimmer of hope came in the form of a kickoff return touchdown ran by Logan Braddock, bringing the score to a one score difference. But the Terriers just couldn't hold on.
"Overall the kids played great,” Christofferson stated. “We had R&L on third and long several times and it seemed the yellow flag would find its way to the field for us. We just seemed to run out of steam at the end and couldn't get it together. ... We had our moments and we know as a team we could’ve beat them but now we know where we stand and what possibilities we could create for ourselves through the season."
Terry travels to Rosebud on Saturday to take on the Wranglers.
