Terry teams compete at Miles City meet

  The Terry High School boys track team finished seventh tieing with the Baker team, while the girls team finished eighth at the Miles City Invitational that took place on Saturday. 

The Billings Central boys and Glendive girls were meet champions. 
Gathering 36 points the Terry boys finished behind Billings Central, Miles City, Sidney, Laurel, Glendive and Hardin. 
Garnering 24.5 points the Terry girls finished behind Glendive with 126 points, Sidney, Hardin, Laurel, Plentywood, Baker and Billings Central. Trailing the Terry girls were Broadus, Wibaux, Miles City, Plevna and Hysham.
Junior Layne Lantis took home gold medals in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs. Seniors Weston Luedtke and Trevor Pisk brought home silver medals in the shot put and javelin, respectively.
On the girls’ side, sophomore Caitlin Lantis placed third in the 1,600 meter run and earned the top spot in the 3,200 meter run with a time of 12:56.81. J’Nai Lobdell placed fourth in the 200 meter run, while Lindsay Stickel placed 7th in the 300 meter hurdles. The Terry girls’ 1,600 relay team placed fourth, following Glendive with a time of 4:23.41, Billings Central 4:28.93 and Sidney 4:32.04.
