Richard John Huber, 64

         Rich Huber quietly passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 due to complications after surgery. Richard was the born on December 29, 1947 to the late John and Hulda (Miller) Huber. Rich attended Yale Elementary School, Terry High School and Dawson County High School. 

After high school Rich enlisted in the Air Force and served 12 years; serving in The Azores Islands and Japan as a Communication Specialist. After his honorable discharge he moved to Sacramento, California. Rich owned and operated A1 Lock and Key. 
Rich was an active member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. Rich was named Moose Legionnaire of the Year for the California/Nevada Moose Association, 2009/2010. Rich served as Governor of the West Sacramento Lodge in 1992-1993 and served as a District Officer for many years. Rich was an avid bird and deer hunter and immensely enjoyed trips back to Montana. His last trip was just last November 2011 where he bagged a very nice five by five muley. 
Rich is survived by his wife, Linda and step-son, Jarroid Sutterburg of Sacramento. His brother, Duane (Carolyn) Huber of Carson, WA and sister, Jane Huber of Keizer, OR. Nieces Brandee Huber and Michelle (Gary) Elfrink and nephew, Ryan Stickel. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Judy Stickel and his first wife, Donna.
