Prairie County Board of Commissioners will be meeting with Keystone XL pipeline representatives and landowners at 1 p.m. during their regular meeting on Jan. 31. Members of the county land planning board will also be a part of the discussion along with Kent Liles, and TransCanada reps Bud Anderson and Dan Forbes, according to the board’s agenda.
Other issues to be addressed during the Jan. 31 commissioners meeting include: cattleguard pricing/Meidinger gravel pit at 9 - 10 a.m., and DES Coordinator John Pisk will address a grant with the commissioners at 3:30 p.m.
Old business items on dock are: Lisk Creek Road and North Bad Route and Chester Road, Big Sheep Mountain Road (Harvey Kountz), old court files at abstract office, commissioner districts, cemetery perpetual care funding, petition to abandon county road (Teske).
New business items include: Study commission, comment letter on North Bad Route Road, Resolution #12-60 HMK Health Grant and letter from Liles on TransCanada.
